Independent practice of CMDA member seeking BC/BE Pediatrician interested in Functional Medicine.  Practice offers Functional Medicine consultations for all ages and Functional Approach Primary Care (newborn to 65).  Provider team includes two physicians, three advanced nurse practitioners, one nutritionist, and two health coaches.  Outpatient-only opportunities where physician would average 10 patients daily with a scribe for all appointments. No hospital privileges or call. Practice is cash-based and does not accept or process insurance.  Must be willing to become IFMCP (Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner — see ifm.org); willing/able to do Functional Medicine consults (especially autism spectrum) for children (newborn to 21) once trained; willing to do functional approach pediatric primary care visits; and willing to work Monday through Friday 40-50 hours per week. Must exhibit personal passion for nutrition, health and wellness.  The practice has high demand and an extensive, growing waiting list for pediatric functional medicine (especially autism spectrum, PANS & PANDAS, Lyme disease, and CIRS/mold/biotoxin) and also plans to open additional locations starting with a new location in the vicinity of the Houston Medical Center.  Partial ownership interest may become available, especially in satellite locations. The practice may also be interested in opening new locations in the vicinity of IFMCP pediatricians licensed and residing in Texas.
