Description:
Wonderful opportunity to join a well-established non-profit 501(c) 3 Christian Internal Medicine clinic seeking a FM or IM associate serving the indigent and uninsured populations of Gwinnett County and the surrounding areas. Physician must be a strong, mature leader with at least 10 years in independent practice in addition to residency. Understanding of office operations is a plus and any experience—even volunteer—with a non-profit is highly desirable. Need to be an excellent communicator, especially with patients and able to build strong, lasting interpersonal relationships. Doctor must be able to represent the clinic in the community and build relationships with donors.
This is a salaried, outpatient only position. Staff consists of 2 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners. Physicians average 10-12 patients daily and clinic operates 5 days per week. Family physicians may have an opportunity to build a pediatric patient base if desired over a period of time. Recruiting due to founding physician desiring to transition into partial retirement.
