Wonderful opportunity to join a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center in Mid-Michigan seeking Medical Director. Opportunity offers balanced patient care, teaching advance practitioners, and administrative work. As medical director, physician must be able to navigate between executive director and nursing supervisor. Current staff of 2 physicians (one Internal Medicine and one Addiction Medicine) along with 6 advanced practitioners. Physician will average between 8-10 patients per day and call is telephone call only and every two out of ten weeks. Ideal for physician planning for future missionary career as daily inner city challenges require resourceful responses. Candidate should be certified in Medication Assisted Treatment as will supervise Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol therapies.
