Description:
Pediatric practice seeking to add a Pediatrician. This is a single-specialty, in-patient/out-patient practice. There are currently 5 Pediatricians in the group and one Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Call is once a week and every 5th weekend. Full-time is 4 days per week. They seek to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with their patients. Several of the physicians have well over 200 2nd generation parents. The work environment is fun and supportive with most of the employees staying 15-20+ years. It is a very encouraging, family-like atmosphere. There are two locations.
Philosophy:
All of the providers and employees are Christians, and they think of themselves as a ministry to their community. In the office they pray for and give Christian counsel to their patients. Each is involved in their own church ministries and they take members of their practice to the Amazon in Brazil regularly for medical mission work.
