Our group was formed in 2021 when two of the founding physicians returned from working in Africa as missionaries, and dreaming of what the mission field was still remaining in Waco.  They realized the lack of focused and compassionate care for seniors in our community and brought in another physician colleague to help form the structure for a practice that would deliver care wherever those seniors live, whether in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or even in their own homes.

They utilize a team-based model, including nurses, assistants, PAs and NPs, and have now expanded to include behavioral health and wound care to meet the needs of our patients in an integrated manner.  Excellent and engaged care for seniors is our new mission field, and we have recruited an all-star team to help us accomplish this. We are currently recruiting full or part-time Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Hospice/Palliative Care physicians.

Position has wonderful option of flexible scheduling – full time job, but has flexibility in when the patients are seen, which can allow time to leave and come back if family events or responsibilities arise.  Involves leadership role in the facilities – must be able to work well with nursing home administrators, nurses, social workers, etc.  Involves driving to multiple facilities several times per week. We have continued to grow and expand and are getting close to the capacity for our current physicians to manage by themselves.  If we are to continue growing, we need more physicians to join our team.
