Independent, outpatient only practice located in San Antonio is seeking a General or Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Wonderful opportunity to join a CMDA member along with 5 advanced practitioners. Physicians would average 14 patients daily. Must be board certified or board eligible having completed a residency program. Willing to consider either full or part-time physicians.

Many patients have belief in God of some sort. Those beliefs are important to their understanding of life and have an impact of their mental health. Therefore, when conducted sensitively, with good boundaries, and following sound scientific practice, discussions of faith and prayer with patients can be extremely helpful to them. Under the leadership and power of the Spirit, with the Word as the guide of faith and practice, ministry to patients is continuous, whether there is religious discussion or not.
