We have an established network within the Christian medical and dental communities as we have been assisting with placements since 1995. Our experience is valuable to anyone involved in recruiting for a practice or seeking a job. We've made hundreds of successful placements, and this success rate make us one of the most common ways Christian physicians, dentists and advanced practitioners connect.
As we work to coordinate placements, we want to develop relationships with both candidates and practices. We want to get to know you on a personal basis. We want to know about your goals and expectations, your preferences, your faith and your methods of integrating that faith into your practice. It’s this personal approach that helps us to find the perfect fit for you and your practice.
Most importantly, we are committed to the advancement of God’s kingdom. By bringing professionals and practices that share the same values and visions together, placements can have a far-reaching effect in transforming individual lives, office, communities and the world.
You can’t put a price on the value using a third-party service in placements. It’s one of the main reasons most placements are made with the assistance of a recruiting service with trained professionals who know every aspect of the process. From start to finish, the overwhelming details and time commitment can cause a breakdown at any point. Most placements will take 6 to 12 months once a candidate and practice become interested in one another, so any number of things can go wrong.
Many will try to do it on their own and find the process requires expertise and knowledge they don't possess. You can find yourself several months into a potential placement only to discover you have to start all over when the process breaks down.
Our specialists are trained in the same way as other recruiters, except with the added advantages of operating with a spiritual emphasis and the incredible CMDA network. Our screening process helps to eliminate wasted time, effort and money. We keep the process going by helping to open communication, provide appropriate counsel and focus on spiritual aspects through prayer. We also assist with contract negotiations, perhaps the most critical phase of the placement process. In short, our involvement can increase your chances of a successful placement.
With a goal of connecting like-minded professionals, we assist two main groups:
- Practicing doctors, dentists and advanced practitioners and those who are completing their training programs who seek to join a Christian practice
- Practices who are looking to hire Christian associates
We assist most specialties and work with a wide variety of practices including independent and hospital-owned practices, inner-city clinics and community health centers.
Does this mean we only place providers in all-Christian groups? No, quite a few of our openings will be large groups with a percentage of non-Christians in them. Our goal would be to increase the number of Christians, thereby creating a more supportive environment for ministry to occur. We have also assisted in creating solo practices in areas where there was a need for a particular specialty. Therefore, it is wise to contact us even if we don't have a position in a particular area. Our large network of contacts gives us quite an advantage in uncovering practice options.
We strive to help Christian practitioners discover where the Lord is calling them, and then we help facilitate the process. And our staff will be there to help and guide you through every step of that process. We join you in prayer throughout the development of your placement, leaning on God’s direction for both the practice and the employee. We’re dedicated to answering all your questions through our counseling services. We provide you with the crucial information you need to make the right decision. We stay with you from the beginning to the end, through the interviews, through the contract negotiations, through the acclimation period.
Our service is FREE to healthcare professionals looking for a job.
For practices recruiting associates, it is FREE to list your opportunity with us. When a placement is made, we do charge a small placement fee that is far below the national average. This fee is contingent only upon the successful placement of a provider with your practice, so there is no risk involved. This fee is reduced for CMDA members. We have a placement fee to be paid by practices and healthcare systems that is only contingent upon placement of a healthcare professional. It supports CMDA Placement as well as other ministries at CMDA. The placement fee is further reduced for CMDA members as a benefit. Please contact our office for further details.
