Description:
Provide compassionate, comprehensive care to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive health. Responsibilities include conducting exams, ordering tests, prescribing medications, educating families, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Must hold a valid Virginia MD/DO license, DEA registration, and CPR/BLS certifications. Strong communication, decision-making, and EMR proficiency are essential. Commitment to confidentiality, teamwork, and ongoing education is required.
Philosophy:
The members of this group are mightily involved with services relating to their faith, teaching, cultural activities, and social ministries with some also involved in medical mission work. As a group the physicians and staff managers view the care and wellbeing of their patients as more than simply diagnosis and treatment. Many of their members frequently pray with their patients.
