Great Workplace and Lifestyle in Southwest Oregon #168569

Description:

Rural Health Clinic in beautiful southwest Oregon currently recruiting Family Medicine associate.  Practice is physician owned and governed.  Protocols and expectations are created by physicians, not hospital or insurance administrators.  Currently we have about 45 providers and growing due to the community’s need for more primary care access. Credentialed as an advanced patient centered home and are serious about functioning as one.

Our group continues to see our own patients in the hospital. You are not required to participate in but have this opportunity to retain these skills.  We are engaged in population health with risk stratification, nurse case managers, panel coordinator and the electronic health record software (Athena Health) that supports that activity. We are integrating mental health with both full time LCSW and Psychiatry services on staff. We are also a Rural Health Clinic allowing us to accept without limit both Medicare and Oregon Health Plan patients.

There is great chemistry as we are a cohesive, supportive and highly functional group. You will be welcomed and supported. We have a structure and system of care that allows you to make physician level decisions, rather than drown in clerical duties. When one provider is absent, our team medicine approach offers seamless coverage for his patients. Every provider as well as all staff has access for input through a committee process.  Our goal is a fully invested medical team. New physicians are eligible to join our Board after 2 years. All time for management activity; whether Board time, Quality Improvement, Patient Centered Home or other, is compensated. Your time is respected.

Compensation package will be competitive. The salary starts at the median of the MGMA with incentive for production. The remaining benefit package of retirement, health benefits, vacation time, etc. is generous. Because of our Rural Health Clinic status, loan repayment both through the State of Oregon and the National Health Service Corps is offered.

Philosophy:

We strive to provide high quality, cost effective and compassionate medical care through a cohesive primary care- based organization. Our obligations are to our patients, our community, our families, and ourselves. We strive to establish trust and mutual respect with our patients and to advocate our mutual interests within the healthcare system.  Roseburg is a conservative area in Oregon and healthcare professionals would have the freedom to integrate their faith and pray with patients as they feel led.
